Responsibilities/ Achievements: Render technical advice on supply and transport matters, with regard to most efficient and economical employment of supply and transport resources to the superior authority. Command, control and administer the training and day to day administration of the sub-unit where a 100+ number of troops are always ready to take up any job, starting from jobs in aid of civil power to International Peacekeeping Operational duties. Presently serving as the Deputy Assistant Director of Supply and Transport in the Area headquarter, Rangpur. In my long career I have been responsible for formulating plans for smooth supply of fresh and centrally purchased items for the maintenance of the area. I also have served as Officer Commanding as independent commander of the Supply Depot. I also have worked as staff officer in various units in my career. Worked as mechanical transport officer in the United Nations Peace keeping Operation in Iraq-Kuwait in 1996. Worked as a staff adjutant in the Supply and Transport Battalion and in the Training Battalion of the Army Services Corps. Main responsibilities were arrangement for procurement, collection, issue, hold and distribution of ration items for the troop’s maintenance. I have been up till now working as a staff for the conclusion of contract of ration items which is done bi-annually and also keeping records of the performance of the contractors and amend policies if necessary. Close liaison with the contractors and also the supplying units are also a part of my duty as the staff officer. As a logistic officer, I have done advance course form the Army Services Corps Centre and School. Store and inventory management were also a part of my duty. While I was adjutant of the training battalion, there was also a catering company I was responsible to formulate training manual for and carry out effective means to make professional cooks for the army.





Skill Summary

Technical and Non Technical Skills: I have completed a command and staff course, POL course on petrochemical technologies, a trade diploma equivalent course on mechanical transport and supply chain management system. Advance course on Logistic management, two computer courses and few more job related courses. Basic life saving skills, fitness skills and also disaster management skills were also part of my training in the military career. In the command and staff course, I have gained knowledge in the secretarial duties and also the skills required for a commander to run the sub unit in most judicious manner. I have been driving trainer in the battalions to train the troops of the international standard driving skills including heavy mechanical transports. I can fix the basic pc nodes, workstations including software and hardware related problems.

Computer Skills: Windows for Workgroups; Intermediate MS Office suite with skills in Database in windows O/S platform.
